The 5-star rating system

We use a five-point system to rate tea. Stars should mean something, so here’s what each point means.

★☆☆☆☆ – One star – This is a truly terrible tea.

★★☆☆☆ – Two stars – Bad tea.

★★★☆☆ – Three stars – This tea is fine. Most teas fit in this section of the bell curve.

★★★★☆ – Four stars – Really good tea.

★★★★★ – Five stars – This tea is mind-blowingly good. Work of infusional art.
